The Emerging Leader in EE Research Award is presented annually to an early-career researcher whose work advances the field of environmental education and contributes to improved practice, policy, or outcomes. This award recognizes emerging scholars and professionals who demonstrate excellence in research design, innovation, and the application of research to support environmental literacy, stewardship, and informed decision-making.

Eligible applicants may include advanced graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and professionals who have completed their terminal degree within the past 10 years. Candidates should demonstrate strong potential for continued leadership and impact in environmental education research.
