Chaska Hansen is a detail-oriented nonprofit professional with over eight years of experience working for mission-driven organizations, excelling in all areas of program delivery, grant administration, event planning, communications, and building trusting and collaborative relationships with partners. In addition to overseeing the organization’s financial work and federal agreements, one of her most important responsibilities is to support an amazing team of staff at NAAEE by creating a positive, smooth functioning work environment and culture. 

Most recently, Chaska worked at the National Park Foundation, the official charitable partner of the National Park Service, where she managed grant programs that connect people to educational and recreational opportunities at national parks across the country. At NPF, she focused on program implementation, impact delivery, and management of stakeholder relations for over 200 grant projects led by NPS rangers and nonprofit park partner organizations. Prior to that, she worked at the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Chaska attended the University of Maryland, College Park where she earned a Bachelor of Arts, double major, in Government and Politics and Spanish Language, Literatures, and Cultures.
