This position will lead and teach thematic environmental education programs for 1st-8th grade campers, integrating science, social-emotional learning, team building, art, and play. Summer Naturalists will lead field groups of up to 12 campers and supervise and provide activities during after care. They will also serve as mentors to high school volunteers and interns.

The Foss waterway seaport is looking for (4) part-time educators to join our staff. The Foss Waterway Seaport will be hosting 7th grade science students from Tacoma Public Schools during May-June. Students will participate in hands on science activities on topics including plankton tows, the impact of maritime trade on the ecosystem, and ecology. There will be multiple rotations throughout the Foss Waterway Seaport museum, Seaport docks, and onboard the tall ship the Lady Washington.
