Chicago Botanic Garden

The Chicago Botanic Garden believes the future of life on earth depends on how well we understand, value, and protect plants, other wildlife, and the natural habitats that sustain our world. A key part of the Garden’s mission is to develop the next generation of conservation scientists through programs for middle school students and beyond, a Nature Preschool, and in collaboration with Northwestern University, a graduate program in plant biology and conservation. The Garden also serves community members of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities on the Regenstein Learning Campus, where more than 152,000 adults and children each year gain a better understanding and appreciation of the natural world.
