- Calling for entries by July 2 and directing people to the application page: naaee.org/e-stem-awards
- Highlighting elements of the contest, such as the funding amounts (up to $50K for the E-STEM Excellence Prize, up to $15K for the E-STEM Innovation Grant, up to $10K for the Next-Generation Transportation Grant) available to nonprofits around the world as they promote meaningful learning experiences that increase STEM skills through environmental problem solving (the “E” in E-STEM).
- Registering for the 2025 Global E-STEM Awards Applicant Webinar on June 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM U.S. Eastern Time (find your time zone).

E-STEM is a great way for young people to build the problem-solving skills needed to address today’s environmental challenges. The Global E-STEM Awards seek to recognize nonprofits around the world that are building skills and capacity for students ages 11–22 to use science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to address environmental challenges. As we move towards the second half of an exciting and eventful year, I wanted to invite you to enter (or help us share!) the Global E-STEM Awards competition for nonprofits engaged in E-STEM education for students ages 11–22. The Global E-STEM Awards recognize creative STEM ideas and programs that address today’s environmental challenges, including conservation stewardship and solutions, energy efficiency, or next-generation transportation. By entering, you’ll be considered to win up to $50,000 for established programs or up to $15,000 in grants for new or enhanced programs!
