About Ambreen's Community Action Project (CAP)

Youth-led Water & Biodiversity Hubs empower rural youth to lead action on water and biodiversity in their villages. Youth volunteers run sessions for children, farmers, and women, blending water understanding, like rainfall, usage, and simple water budgets with eco-literacy connecting plants, pollinators, and soil.

Key activities include training youth facilitators, creating village water budgets and biodiversity registers, leading biodiversity walks, and supporting community action planning.

The project nurtures youth leadership, fosters intergenerational learning, and builds community ownership of natural resources. By connecting knowledge to action, this project helps villages plan, care for, and protect their water and biodiversity for a sustainable future.

More About Me

What are three environmental values you try to emulate?

Living Mindfully and Minimally—I strive to live simply and thoughtfully, making choices that honor the environment and bring balance to my daily life.
Recovering with Nature—I draw energy, inspiration, and a sense of well-being from spending time outdoors, letting nature guide my mindfulness and creativity.
Sharing Nature’s Wonders—I love introducing others to the beauty and intricacies of the natural world, hoping they too will feel its magic and feel inspired to co-exist with it.
