We have an opening for a Forest Preschool (FPS) Teacher to join our education team at North Branch Nature Center. The position is for 16 hours a week (not including school breaks and holidays) for 40 weeks. The part-time Forest Preschool Teacher works collaboratively with the FPS Director and Lead Teacher to facilitate child-centered play and learning with nature. The part-time FPS Teacher will promote best practices of a nature-based early childhood program at NBNC. The pay is $16 per hour. Deadline to Apply 6/18/2021

The Nature Preschool is an outdoor nature-based preschool program serving children ages 3-5. Our mission is to promote a child's kinship with nature while supporting the whole child growth. Children engage in an outdoor, play-based, emergent curriculum with teachers scaffolding unique learning experiences in nature while supporting DAP for Early Childhood Education. Classes are small, with a ratio of 2 co-teachers to 10-12 children.
